Disc Defragment
Hello
Since I have purchased my laptop late last year, I click the Disc Defragmenter and after analyzing the C drive, a green check mark with the message: Your file system permance is good You do not need to defragment at this time.
I am using my laptop daily and as I said, I have it about eight months, shouldn't the C drive be defragmented by now?

It's not unusual to get that message, all it means is that the fragmentation that's there isn't enough to warrant a message from the system that you should defragment your drive. You can always force a defrag operation by clicking the Defragment button.
