Display not fitting entire screen
I was wondering if anyone might have some advice regarding this issue. I have a Dell Studio 1537 running Vista. No problems that last couples years and recently the screen has started acting up. See picture below. It would do this occasionally but would fix itself when I restated but now it's like this all the time. About 2 inches of the screen on the right side is just black and the bottom is a dark gray color about 1/4". I didn't make any changes to my the screen size or resolution and all the drivers say they are up to date. When I plug the laptop into my TV with HDMI it takes up the whole screen like normal. Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi Thecoreyt,
Welcome to the Community. Welcome to the Community. I guess this is because at times you connect your TV to the computer.
Click Start-Control Panel-Apperance and Personalization, Under personalization click on Adjust Screen Resolution. The Display Properties window will appear. Click Advanced, click the tab for your video card, that was shipped with your system. In the display devices section, select the appropriate option for using either a single display or multiple displays, ensuring that the display settings are correct for your selection.
Hope this helps.
Thank you

Thanks for your reply, Royan. Unfortunately, it looks like all my settings are correct. I have updated my original post to include some pictures of the settings.
