Display not working correctly -- please help!

Question

I recently reformatted my Inspiron 600m and now my display doesn't work correctly -- it has no sleep option and I can't run DVDs because of a problem with the resolution and color depth. Please help!

Yes -- I reloaded everything on the cd, but I can't seem to find anything that corresponds with a display driver.

Have you reloaded all the software and drivers that came with the laptop?

Above - Product Support - Downloads - your notebook info.  Get the Chipset Driver also.

download the new driver from dell support site, the one on reinstall cd is buggy, and won't work!!!
