Doubt with XPS15 battery

Question

Hi!!

I'm thinking of purchasing a xps15, so I have been watching the reviews of this pc on youtube, and I have got a doubt concerning to its battery.

In some reviews, I've realized, they show that the battery has got a kind of "curvature" to raise up the laptop letting this way a better ventilation,I guess. But in others reviews,besides Dell website, the shown battery doesn't have got this "curvature" what puzzles me.Maybe is the kind of battery 6/9 cells??

Another thing I would like to know is whether or not the keyboard has got backligth/retroillumination.

The 9-cell battery is larger and protrudes from the system.  The 6-cell doesn't. The backlit keyboard is an option - not standard - in most markets.

Ok, so the first image would correspond wtih a 9-cell battery and the second one with 6-cell, wouldn't they? How can I check if the keyboard has backlit? Thanks for clarifying to me!!!

Yes, that's correct on the battery.  Unless you specifically purchased a backlit keyboard, it's not.
