DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION
HELLO DELL
MY DELL INSPIRION 14 GIVES ERROR MESSAGE OF DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION ON A COMPLETELY BLUE BACKGROUND BARELY 5 - 10 MINUTES OF USING IT; AND THAT THE SYSTEM WILL BE RESTARTED. IT COUNTS FROM 0 - 100% AND REMAINS UNCHANGED UNTIL I PUT IT OFF FROM THE POWER BUTTON. WHENEVER I TRY USING IT, IT TAKES LESS THAN 8 MINUTES AND THE SAME ISSUE REOCCURS. I HAVE SINCE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE MY PC. THIS IS THE SECOND SERIOUS ISSUE I AM HAVING IN A SPACE OF LESS THAN 3 MONTHS. WHAT DO I DO?

Try booting the laptop in safe mode. Repeatedly press F8 upon boot-up and that should bring up the advanced bootup options. Under that select safe mode. If your computer boots fine, it is most likely a driver error. If it boots up then, reboot and repeat the steps except this time choose safe mode with networking. Once the computer is up and running, make sure all drivers are up to date by going to device manager and support.dell.com

Hi Revie,
Restart the system and keep tapping on f12 key and select diagnostics. Run the test and make a note of any errors that you might possibly encounter. Also, run the extended memory diags and see if the bluescreen reoccurs at any point.
I have attached a zip file - download - extract and run the application and send me a screenshot for review.
Based on the errors, I shall advise further course of action.
Keep us updated.
