e-mail configuration windows 7

I just got a new inspiron laptop, and need to know how to set my yahoo pop and smtp settings.  I called dell support, and they wanted to charge me for software information!  I am almost ready to return this computer.  Great customer servic,e dell.  Any help is greatly appreciated

That will depend on what email client you're planning to use.  Which one?

And right they should to charge you! And if you return the Dell, you'll encounter the same problem with any other computer manufacturer. Nobody helps with issues like this.

Please explain it in details, Perhaps you will think the question is something stupid.what do you mean by "depend on what email client".
