E1505 "skipping" Problem!
So I have never seen this happen with a computer before but I am having an issue with "skipping". Basically anything I do I get a reaction as if I had a scratched CD/DVD that I were playing. If I play music or a movie it skips every second or so. If I watch a streaming video online it skips, music, sounds of all sorts, video. Everything is skipping a beat every second or so. Even if I type a line of the same letter in notepad i.e. tttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt it will pause after a second, then keep going, then pause a second later etc.
I have looked all over for help with this issue. I have seen one person say that setting the clock speed on his CPU to max fixed it. But I checked in my Startup options and my CPU settings are locked. I've seen others say that I have too much running in the background, but this just started a couple of days ago and I have not downloaded/deleted or installed anything. I run my anti-virus, anti-spyware software in the background, nothing else at all really.
Has anybody else had a problem similar to this? If so how did you fix it? I really want this to be resolved since I have no TV and watching DVD's on my computer is the only way to avoid complete boredom.
