E4310 Windows 8 Drivers

   If this is a Dell Latitude E4310

  Check this www.dell.com/support/drivers/ys/en/19/Product/latitude-e4310.

or go to dell.com, go down to laptops, then select your product type, exp Latitude, then locate the model,

either put in service tag or on the right side choose from all find your computer. If you choose service tag

it will display all drivers available, If you choose the computer then go to drivers and downloads.

You can also, click on the error and search for drivers and see if it will find it that way.

Latitude E4310 is not tested with Windows 8, hence Win 8 drivers are not available for this model. However you may install Win 7 drivers from the link below in the Compatibility mode.

Find the steps below to install the driver in the compatibility mode:

Download the DELL_CONTROLVAULT-WINDOWS-BI_A00_R308325.exe from the link above and double click on the file and extract it on the desktop in a folder. Look for setup file in the extracted folder. Right click ‘.exe’ file and click ‘Properties’. Click “install in compatibility mode’. Click on Application and select ‘Troubleshoot Compatibility’. Next, click on ‘Troubleshoot Program’. Click on Program worked in earlier versions of Windows. Click on ‘Windows 7’, Click on ‘Start the Program’. Do not hit ‘Next’ until the installation completes. Once the installation completes, click on ‘Next’.

  Hmmm. Apparently this is an ongoing problem with win.8, I just had the error with 7 and was easily resolved.
