e5420 Windows8 Unknown Device SMO8800
I have done a fresh Windows 8 install. I have installed all drivers from dell support. Unfortuatelly device Manager reports Unknown Device ACPI\SMO8800.
I have found a solution for Windows 7 http://www.jdhodges.com/2011/10/acpis-mo8800-dell-unknown-device-driver-solved/.
Can anybody tell me:
1. Does that solution work in Windows 8?
2. Why drivers are missing from my dell support page?
