Enabling the S-video output

I have a Latitude D610 laptop with the Intel 915 chipset and have been unable to get the S-video output to work. I have seen a number of posts on S-video problems but did not find a solution.

I have checked the TV and S-video cable with another computer and have downloaded / reinstalled the recommended video driver but still no output to the S-video

Any suggestions?
