Express-code

The service tag on my Latitude has worn off and, of course, it is not booting. I can read the express code. Is there a way to convert the express code to the service tag so I can call in for service?

    Thanks.
I should have been more specific. It won't power on, at all. It is also out of warrantee. I strongly suspect it needs a new mother-board but I'd like to look up how it originally shipped. For that, I need a service tag.

Unless the motherboard has been replaced, the Service Tag should also appear on the first page/screen of System Setup.  You can still get through to Support without the service tag, though.  Just give them the Express code, and they can look you up.

Call Support and give them the Express Service Code.  They can look up the Service Tag, and you can then look up the original configuration.  The Service Tag ID should also be on your invoice, which is always a good thing to file away somewhere safe.
