Factory Reset/Wipe Laptop
I have an old Dell Latitude D620 which is on its last legs.
I want to wipe everything off it so I can get rid of it safely. The Internet tells me to press F8 on start up then go into Repair your Computer but I don't have this option on the menu. Other searches say to insert the start up CD but I cant find this anywhere.
I am running Windows XP.
Any ideas how I can wipe my laptop?
Thanks

Is that something I need to install?

Assuming you don't need to install the OS, just use Darik's Boot and Nuke to wipe the drive.
