Flashing Bios fails.. no post
using the DELL SUPPORT CENTER that came with the Dell Inspiron N5010. I ran the recommended upgrades. During the flash of the bios, the system started to shutdown windows an presented a pure white screen on the display. It stayed in this state for over 4 hours. I then proceeded to power off the system and restart. Now the system will not POST at all. Can someone assist or is my laptop now a paper wait.

There are two options: find a shop that can unsolder the BIOS chip, flash it and re-solder it, or replace the system board.

OK.. acceptable... but, isn't DELL responsible for the replacement, since it was their software install that failed and caused the issue?
