Graphics issue in games.

I've run into a strange graphics issue while playing games on my laptop, and I'm unsure what is causing it.  Its not just a single game, so I don't think it's the software itself.  I only see it in games, not when I'm just browsing the web or doing anything else.  The issue is that the screen constantly flickers large sort of spikes or color, which are constantly moving but go along the whole screen.  It's a constant flicker, but I took a few screenshots to try to better show them.

The first one really shows the issue.  You can see the black lines shooting through all over.  Those are constantly moving and flickering, it's not static, but its always occuring.  The second picture isn't as good, but you can see several lines running through the two characters in front.  This same problem occurs in other games I have tried, leading me to believe it is an issue with my computer rather than the game.

I have an Alienware M17xR4 running an Intel HD Graphics 4000, co-running the nVidia GeForce GTX 660M.  I have tried updating the drivers, tried doing a clean install, and I've tried running the AlienAutopsy diagnostic program.  I've gone onto the support page, run the tests there, and everything comes up having passed.  I am unsure what else to do, and hope that I can find some help here.
