Hard disk not getting detected after removing and reinserting
My laptop was overheating,so to check if there was dust between fan and ventilator I removed palm rest. I followed steps from the user manual.I also removed the HDD which was unnecessary though but now it is not getting detected. I got some error message when it tried to boot from network I disabled Integrated NIC but then I found out It showed Fixed HDD None. BIOS is not detecting it. I tried to run diagnostics It asked HDD not detected continue?
HDD was working well. It did not showed any symptoms of failing when I recently checked. I kept it on table like 10 minutes. Thats all.
I am running live ubuntu session from USB drive for a moment.

Make sure the drive is firmly connected -- if it still doesn't show up, you can try connecting it to another system (desktop internally or notebook with an external case) but it sounds like the drive has failed.
