hardware TnL problems on C610
before i get started, i'd just like to say that i'm not 100% knowledgable about what i'm about to say, (which is i guess why i'm asking), so please feel free to laugh if the answer is right in front of me. i'm an RPG junkie, not a hardware person, i'm just trying to get my fix.
i have a latitude c610 notebook with a radeon mobility m6 graphics card. i recently received final fantasy xi (early christmas present, woo!) and now that it's all installed (a two day process, labor and caffeine intensive) i cant play it... i get a message that says "unable to recognize hardware TnL"
so my question(s) is/are: is there anything i can do with this card to make it play this game? do i need to get a new card, and if so, what card will i need?
again, i'm not really aware of how my laptop works, i just know that it doesnt run ffxi right now, and i will be sad through christmas if i cant play it....
thanks for the help!

Hey,
I also own a Latitude 610 with an m6. The m6 does not support hardware t&l and even if it did you dont have the video memory to run the game. So what im trying to say is that your out of luck... ...well maybe not. Someone has found a website that sells 32mb geforce2 go cards which support hardware t&l and meet the video card memory requirements. You can find the thread here http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=latit_upgrade&message.id=7121 If you find that this does work in the C610 you can buy the GF2go cards on ebay cheap! good luck, l8r.
