The release date of ‘Haswell Processors’ from Intel is 4th June, 2013. However there is no official update from Dell regarding the launch of the systems with ‘Haswell Processors’ as of now. Hopefully you will be hearing about the official release of systems with the processor from Dell soon. Keep visiting Dell website for further details.
Hope this helps. please feel free to reply for any further questions.
I also looking forward waiting dell announce new inspiron series with haswell inside and dedicated graphics maybe nvidia gt750m would be perfect for me and ofcourse a large 17.3" 1080p screen will be the best combination. Hope they gonna announce it soon because i can't wait :) Unfortunatle still nothing on computex 2013 for inspiron only small size ultrabooks and poor spec tablets we want inspiron 17.3"! =)

The Alienware Haswell lineup has now been released as well. Come on Dell, where are the Inspirons? I would love a 2GB GT 750 with Optimus and an 8 cell (86 Wh) battery plus sufficient cooling to prevent overheating (unlike the 17r SE I just sent back, which overheated all of the time). The suspense is killing me!!
Laptops have been outselling desktops for several years. Why would HP introduce Haswell system in desktops before laptops? HP and Toshiba understand? Must I switch brands???
They seem to be arriving from the high end down and ultraportable up. Two things could be the cause: Intel may not yet have the volume production up and running - - or, just as likely, they're holding back until manufacturers sell out of their stocks of existing systems.
However check Toshiba and HP. They both have machines available with Haswell processors. I have the feeling that the whole takeover issue at Dell is messing up everything.
