HELP BIOS Update Inspiron 5100 failed
I have tried to update my BIOS from A06 to A22. No problem, got a bootable cd containing the reqired BIOS version. Unfortunatly now my computer does not start any more. No reaction when pressing the power on button.
Any idea what to do now ?
The installation instruction did not show any warning.
Thanks

you have to flash them in order. With the 5100 and 5150, you can't jump to the most current BIOS version.
The reason for this is that Dell changed the BIOS from a Pheonix BIOS to a Dell BIOS and they are not compatible or something.
