Help Resetting Laptop

I am trying to reset my laptop to sell it but it keeps giving me this error, "There was a problem resetting this PC" or something like that.

I tried multiple things from Google to YouTube but none seem to work.

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15 3521. It was on Windows 8 when I bought it, then I updated it to Windows 10 when it came out.

If resetting windows 10 option still doesn't work....

I'd suggest you create a bootable windows 10 flash drive and then reinstall windows from the drive. Please flow steps in the link below:

If Disk cleanup doesn't work I suggest run the System File Checker and Try to reset windows 10 again. Please follow steps below:

a) Press Windows key + X key at the same time, select Command prompt (Admin)

b) In the command prompt type the following command: sfc/scannow and press enter

If no corrupted system files were found , then I would suggest you try the following steps:

a) Select Command prompt (Admin)

b) In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command....

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

After you had created the bootable windows 10 drive, please follow the steps below:

1. Power on system, wait a few minutes and then insert the bootable windows 10 flash drive into a USB port.

2. Power off system.

3. Power on the system, quickly start tapping F12 key continuously until you see Preparing one time boot menu. At the boot menu, select the bootable flash drive under UEFI BOOT.

4. Identify and select your language, time and currency format.
