HELP WITH NORTON!!!

I have Norton Antivirus 2005 installed on my Inspiron 1100 running XP Home on a celeron. After running the full system virus scan, Norton showed me some adware on my computer. However, for some strange reason, Norton could not delete the adware, and i now still have about 11 or 12 adware files on my computer that cant be deleted, by norton or me myself, since i have no idea where they are. Can i get rid of this adware, and if so, how? I have also run Lavasoft's Adaware, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, and SpyBot Search and Destroy and removed everything i could, yet norton cant delete these 12 adware files. Anyone know how i can get them off of my computer?

Are they stuck in the System Restore (system volume information)?

If so, disable the system restore, reboot, and then re-enable it (it's in the System Applet in the Control Panel).

Look at the logs from your antivirus program.

there is an easier way. I've dealt with norton before. http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5     go to that site and install adware se. It is a great program. If that comes up with nothing. Go back to norton and delete the files yourself. It works. But try using ad-ware se. It is just a lot easier. PS do a full system scan in adware. Try that and get back to me. System restore should have to do with nothing with ad-ware. Only with big viruses. And adware is not a virus technically..
