How do I Rebuild hardware?

I have an Inspiron 8600 that has worked great since I owned it.  With use over the years, the monitor has been banged a few times to be sure and eventually the monitor frame is cracked right at the hinge on the right hand side.  Also a platic tab on the CD Drive is cracked and causes the CD Drive to stick out.  I am interested in havign this repaired and returned to me in as like new condition as possible.  How do I do this with Dell?

You probably don't want to do it with Dell as the cost will be prohibitive.  Checkout www.parts-people.com, either buying the parts yourself or paying them to do it.
