how to disable touchpad
I have an XPS 15z and am running win 8. The touchpad is a massive nuisance as it causes the cursor to jump around as I type.
I want to disable it but there is no tab for it in the Mouse settings or even in BIOS. Did not have this problem until I installed win 8.
Suggestion? Typing this took five minutes thanks to this problem.

Hi Zhukov,
Check the status of touchpad in safe mode.
If the issue persists,I recommend installing the drivers from below link:
http://dell.to/Qj7psu
Also try installing Touch freeze .This Utility disables touchpad automatically while you are typing text.
Install the touch freeze drivers from the below link:
http://code.google.com/p/touchfreeze/
From the above link, click on Downloads sections, save the file and run the file.
Please reply if you have any further questions.
