I need your help!!!

After re-installing Windows XP Pro, I have this problem, I try my best to describe it since my English is poor.
 
Occassionally, while I surf the internet, the LCD Panel becomes 'garbled' (not sure if this word is approriate).......There are color-ed dots or lines, areas that make the pictures or texts appear as doubled or mutipled....anyway, blurred...............And the monitor itself becomes black for several times............and very soon.......the system is not responding,,,,,,the LCD shutsdown completely,   I have to force shutdown-restart the machine............
 
Machine is : DELL Precision M60, Video Card: nVidia Quadro FX go1000.....
 
I post my problem here because there seems to have very little support for this type of machine in other boards.....
 
I appreciate any advice....thank you.

Make sure you have reinstalled your video card or adapter driver after reinstalling Windows. Go to Downloads under the support tab above. Enter your machine and model. Select the driver you need, your O/S and language, and download your driver from there. Or use link to driver here. Follow instructions to download and install. In case link is broken, go to file number R73978.

hi, it happened twice today. I am still observing it's functionality...whether stable or not...

Thanks for all your reply, I found yesterday at DELL download site that the A01 version of Video Adapter BIOS upgrade could fix:  Intermittent pixel corruption, lock ups. Which describes exactly the same problem i had experienced, I have flashed the video bios, I hope this would solve my problem...

I had exactly the same problem, drove me nuts, thought it was any of the following:-

video card, mouse, usb conflict, motherboard burnout, then I finally worked it out see here how to fix

Nvidia Driver Help Services:
Nvidia driver help services is part of the detonator drivers which are automatically loaded when you first start up WinXP after installing the Nvidia drivers. Some people have reported that disabling this feature of the detonator drivers, has eliminated the loop error on their PC.

To disable this feature go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > scroll down the list and highlight "Nvidia driver help services". Right click and click Properties. Under the general tab where it reads "Start up type" - change to disabled by clicking on the pull down menu.

This simple procedure stopped me going crazy - good luck.
