I6000 lid-base gap
Hi,
Ich have my new Inspiron 6000 since 3 days and it was not difficult to see the gap between the lid and the base of the notebook if the display is closed.
I called the tech support and they said that the wobbly display is normal and its still the same by all Inspiron 6000 models.
I think its not difficult to solve the problem, but maybe it will a hard work for the designers of Insp. 6000 :-) to solve a small and easy problem like this just with a modification of the display latches.
Here is a constructive Idea (after hours of brainstorming:-) ):
The display latches(see page 13 eng. manual) should to be shorter to get rid of the gap between the lid(display) and the base!!
Maybe the forum moderators can forward this to the Inspiron designers....
Nice greetings from Germany,
Mark

I have a small gap on my i6000; however, it is not wobbly. Nothing on my laptop is wobbly!
