IASTOR.SYS BLUE SCREEN

I have a Studio 1555 and a few weeks about once a day i would get the blue screen of death and on top it would say DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL then at the bottom it mentions a file called IASTOR.SYS. It stopped happening for a while but today it did it again. I've done some googling and all the fixes i've found come from back in 2007 and the instructions really dont work for my computer. I've read that it has something to do with the Intel Matrix Storage Driver and also read references to SATA.

One of my googles turned up an article on Dell's website but the instructions to go into system setup and highlight sata operation section isnt in my F2 setup page. Any feedback on a fix would be appreciated. Dell support really isnt a great help anymore. The last few times I have contacted them about other problems seems like their only fix is to re-install the operating system........I dont and do my own research and fix the problem myself.
