Icon with 9's light on

Question

Please, I have noticed that my Latitude D510 has this Icon with 9 (it is nearer to Caps icon with A). Its light is on always. Is it normal? If not, how would I put it off? Please, help me out.   ACO2005

That's the NumLock indicator, it's used to set a block of keys on the keyboard to behave as a numeric keypad on regular keyboards. There's a corresponding NumLk key on your keyboard, you must have hit it accidentally - press it again.
