Insp 5000 PhoenixPhlash Error (BIOS ROM image)

Hey community!

 

I have a windows 2000 inspiron 5000 with FlashBIOS A06 currently installed. Trying to alleviate battery issues, I have been attempting to update my BIOS to version A08. I'm currently booting from my 3.5", and as the utility begins working, it fails to Load BIOS ROM image file... due to the "PhoenixPhlash Error: File does not contain different version of BIOS ROM image."
