Inspiron 1525 charging problem
I have had my laptop for 5 months and it suddenly has stopped charging up the battery. It recognises that the charger is plugged in, and it uses its power to run the computer but it will not charge the battery.
Whenever i turn the computer on, with the charger in the following msg comes up, " AC Power Adapter Wattage and Type cant be determined. Battery may not charge. Please connect a Dell 65W AC adapter for best system performance".
However ti am attempting the use the dell 65w adapter that came with the laptop.
Can anyone help?

Call Dell. They'll send a replacement adapter first - if that doesn't solve the problem, they'll replace the mainboard under warranty.
