Inspiron 5100 Getting extremely hot

Not sure what to do with this?  My inspiron 5100 is getting extremely hot.  It is unuseable after 15 minutes and powers down.  It takes about 40 minutes to cool before it can be powered back up.  The fan has been cleaned and the dust is minimal.  Any ideas

If it's extremely hot, you need to call Dell Hardware Support if your hardware warranty is still up, they need to replace the fan, heatsink and possible mobo and processor as well. I believe that there has been heat issues going on with this kind of system, but once they replaced the parts, it should be up and running by then.

I had the same problem with mine. Dell replaced the cooling unit and I haven't had any problems since.
