Inspiron 600m Security Screw DVD/CDRW Problem

Question

I am having trouble getting the DVD/CDRW module to come out of the system. I removed the security screw and popped the latch out, but no matter how hard I pull it will not budge. Am I missing something? Is there another screw holding it in place somewhere. Help me please!:womansad: Daniel

I have followed the instructions and to no avail. I even removed the
keyboard to get a look at it and see no other screws in a position that
would be holding it in.

My guess is that it hasn't been removed in a long time if ever, and has
somehow welded itself into position.

Anyway, if anyone has experienced this before or has some insight about
what may be happening please post your thoughts.
