Inspiron 6400 Bluetooth Problem

Hello

I have a Inspiron 6400 with a Dell 355 internal bluetooth module.  I recently downgraded (yet again) to XP SP3 from Vista Home Premium SP2 (due to memory issues) and am using Dell's bluetooth driver (Widcomm 5.0.1.2609)

My problem deals with a pair of Plantronics Pulsar 590a bluetooth headphones which I have that can act as a headset (for talking to people on skype) or as stereo headphones (for listening to music). It worked great back in early '07 before I installed Vista and messed up my restore partition in the process. Now when I turn the headset on, in the "Quck Connect" menu (right click bluetooth icon in taskbar) it automatically enables headset mode as well as stereo mode and in order for me to listen to my mp3's using winamp or any other program, I have to manually disconnect the headset from within XP than manually reconnect by selecting "590Plantronics Stereo Headphones" in order to have sound from the headset

When I had Vista installed I was using the "ANYCOM Bluetooth Software v6.0.1.4400" driver and as soon as I turned on my headset it automatically started up with the Stereo profile....How can I get the headset to work like that in XP?? or if not like that how can I eliminate the disconnecting and reconnecting to get the stereo profile??

Like I said, before the deletion of my restore partition I had no problems with the having to reconnect :(

Anyone have a problem like this or anyone have a solution?
