Inspiron 700m Power-On problem! Please Help...

My Inspiron 700m just shut down without any warning while i'm watching DVD. When I tried to power it on, nothing happens. When I plug the AC adaptor, the battery indication in front of the PC comes on as if charging, but when I press the power button nothing happens and the LED light on the AC adaptor comes off. Please give me an advise what could probably wrong.

i see this happen on a different model.  It looks like your memory module has gone bad..  not really sure if this is the same thing, but try call dell first and see if they are willing to replace the memory.

You can try reseating the RAM, but it sounds like a system board failure.

Already tried to pull and put back again the RAM but still don't work. I tried to contact DELL but i'm out of warranty. I will try to replace it with a known working RAM borrowed from a friend and hope it works. I'm hoping its not system board...
