Inspiron 7520 battey problem

i had previsouly charged my battery in the nite for 100% fully charged and switched it off and agian in the morning i had turned on my ystem and the battery status was showing as 85% and was shocked to see it. this problem i am facing for past one week do i need go for a repalcemnt of abttery . i have still 1.5 years of completec overage policy .express service tag: <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>

Hi Rajbharath M,

Please update the BIOS in the system and also discharge the battery completely till zero and then charge the battery. Please use the link below to update the BIOS.

Please connect the Ac Adapter while updating the BIOS and do not use the system once the update is initiated and until the system restarts completely.

Battery warranty for any Dell Laptop will be for one year from the date of purchase, even though you have a complete care warranty. After updating the BIOS and if still the problem persists, you may have to replace the battery.
