Inspiron 8000 Problems with Return-key after Keyboard replacement
After replacing the keyboard of my Inspiron 8000 the RETURN key and some of the lower letter row keys do not work at all. Most keys are working fine, even FN and combinations. First I thought of keyboard malfunction and replaced the old keyboard - same problem, never had with that keyboard before. Now I am unable to get the RETURN key working.
Does anybody have any idea?

ok folks - I GOT IT WORKING!
just in case you have similar problems, here may be your solution:
after plugging the keyboard connector there must on of the motherboard-side connector pins been out-bended. I took a very fine screw driver and bended all the pins slightly inward toward the connector center area and plugged the keyboard connector again - ALL KEYS WORK FINE AGAIN!
