Inspiron Keyboard....broken

An item fell on the keyboard and one of the key caps came out (the

I have not taken any troubleshooting steps apart from considering the users manual on the keyboard replacing procedure.Please can you advise me on:
what will be the cost of a new keyboard
3. can i replace it myself without violating the warranty?
4. in case of having to send my laptop to Dell how much time will it take for such a problem to be fixed and any costs included except shipping?
5. i bought the laptop 2 months ago...does the warranty covers such things or since it was my fault i will have to pay it....

That depends on the model of Laptop and where you purchase it. Dell would be the most expensive.

3. can i replace it myself without violating the warranty?
 
Of this I am not sure, I know that in there are instructions online how to remove and reinstall the keyboard. So it may be something you can do.

If covered under warrenty, then nothing. If not, I would suggest do it yourself.

Depends on what type of warrenty, If you have Complete Care, then it's covered. If not, then it isn't.
