Installed Dell webcam manager, Asks for Webcam driver!

Hello,

I installed Dell Webcam Manager, on starting, it said :

"No supported webcam driver detected. Please install the webcam driver using the Dell Resource CD and launch Webcam center again."

I lost the CD.

Any help will be highly appreciated, thanks.

Hi dekos,

Thank you for providing the information.

Uninstall the webcam driver and USB root hubs from the device manager and restart the computer.

Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers, right click USB Root Hub entries and click on uninstall.

If you still get the same error, uninstall the Dell Webcam Central application and reinstall from the
link below.

ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/monitors/Dell_SX2210-Monitor_Webcam%20SW%20RC1.1_%20R230103.exe

If you are unable to click on the link, you may copy and paste the link in the browser.

Keep me posted with the results. I will be glad to assist you further.

Hi dekos,

Please share the system model and the operating system.

Also share the screenshot of Device Manager with Imaging Devices expanded.

  • Press ‘Windows’ key + R on ‘Desktop’ screen
  • Type ‘devmgmt.msc’ in run box and press ‘Enter’
  • Click > or + sign next to ‘Imaging Devices’

Keep me posted with the results. I will be glad to assist you further.
