Is my D600 has Bluetooth installed?
With the following System Configuration:
1 1U746 CARD (CIRCUIT), WIRELESS, INTERNAL, BLUETOOTH, BII
1 J4781 CARD (CIRCUIT), WIRELESS, MINI PCI CARD, 1450, BROADCOM CORPORATION
does this means i have Bluetooth module installed?. If YES, than why is the Bloetooth setting in the BIOS 'Not Installed'.
This is a company own laptop, bought in US but now i am living in Jakarta - Indonesia, is there any DELL service in this town?

Hi,
It sounds like you have it , but not working. This is common on that model, and may need a motherboard. There should also be a lable underneath to say it is fitted. Im not aware of service there either so check with Dell, you may have to send it to Darwin. It may be a reseat, so if not under warranty you may be able to fix it yourself. The manual is from the product support tab above. ( a number of steps )

I have looked in the BIOS for Bluetooth setting but it said 'Not Installed'. However, the label at the bottom of the laptop and the system config. data (retrieve from DELL site using Service Tag) suggested otherwise.

Hi,
They are often intermittent, but often you will get a USB error / device found. This is another typical symptom. If you press down on the front LHS corner of the palm-rest, you may see the blue LED come on. ( dont press too hard..... )
