Issues with USB attached printer with port replicator
Hi, I have recently setup my Latitude 505, running XP, with a D/Port Advanced port replicator and connected an HP officejet v40 printer to a USB port. when I print I only get partial output and it receives an error that as no real details of what the error means.
When I connect the printer directly to the PC it prints great - but that is not convenient (or the reason you have a port replicator).
Any advice would be MOST appreciated.

I have had that same problem...and actually stopped using the docking station. My HP officejet v40 will print maybe one page..then the error message pops up..and the printer stops printing.
Any solution?? If i remove the docking station, I have NO problems with the eprinter.
