just formatted hdd
After installing Windows XP pro I still have a couple things on my device manager which have errors on them because I cannot find the right drivers. The first is Multimedia Audio Controller and the other is USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller. Can anyone tell me where to get these drivers? Thanks!

The chipset software is called the Notebook System Software by Dell.
USB 2.0 will not function until you install Windows XP, SP1 - which you should anyway, along with all subsequent critical updates (going on the Internet without SP1 is like skating on thin ice in April).

You need to:
Install your chipset software (on the Dell CD that came with the system, or download it).
Update your system to SP1, and then apply all subsequent critical updates from Microsoft.
Install your audio and video drivers (on Dell CD or download).

Do you know how to change my product key for windows xp pro w/o reinstalling?

Hi, guys, I have just re-format my HDD too. Anyway, for the system drivers, I had actually called Dell Technical Support for that, you must follow strictly the sequence below when you are trying to install the drivers using CD given by Dell:
Inspiron System Software(or Notebook System, under utilities)
Chipset Driver
Video
Audio
Communication, for 600m, I think it's modem.
Network, Ethernet and Wireless.
Input, pointing device, the title might seem wrong or not compatible, but just click in and you will see it's actually the driver for touch pad.
And finally, Dell QuickSet, under application part. And any other applications you want.
Anyway, it is better for you to call Dell for technical support before you do it. Since the service is FOC, free of charge, haha!
All the best!
