Hi, you could try downloading the Dell Enhnacement Pack, I did for my XPS13 and it gave me the option to change the backlight settings. Not sure if it's compatible with your laptop though, worth a try.
Thanks for your help. When trying to install, my system refused saying there was a newer version installed. Dell has now asked me to send the computer back so they could fix it.

My mobility center is not the same. It does not have a block for backlighting!
