Keyboard ribbon cable socket broke
While replacing the hard drive on my Inspiron 15R 3520 laptop I broke the latch on the keyboard socket on the mother board that holds the keyboard ribbon cable down and now my keyboard cable will not stay in. The "latch" is actually a small fragile piece of plastic and I am afraid I may have to replace the entire socket or worse yet the motherboard in order to fix this. Has anayone else run into this probelm? Anyone have a fix?
Thanks

That part isn't available separately -- if you can find someone selling an otherwise dead mainboard on EBay from the same or a simliar model (such as the 5520), you can salvage the connector. Otherwise you're in for a mainboard replacement.
