Laptop docking station

Hi .... my laptop Inspirion N5010 is out of warranty and the charging pin broke. can i buy the dc power jack from dell ... i cannot visit their service centre so do dell post them ??

also instead of chaning the dc power jack can i charge my laptop using laptop docking station. I remember in India in our office we used to charge IBM laptop on external docking station?? does dell also support that. the docking station would be cheaper than buying the dc power jack??

also my battery is totally dead and i was using laptop directly on charging as a desk top.
