laptop gets heated up
mine is a really hot piece,,n not performance or luks!!!!! its the temperature!!!!
it gets so hot to the extent of discomfort and irritation....any suggestions???
n yes,,i always keep it on a hard table..

I used to be able to feel the heat through thick tables from my old Inspiron 1501....
One thing you could try is a laptop cooler:

I use note book air conditioning by mitsubishi electrics.

Or you could go the cheap option and cut two strips of plywood and use them to prop the laptop up.
Seem as I was too cheap to buy the laptop cooler I said I'd make one... LOL! :smileyvery-happy:

Heat is the worst enemy for electronic devices. So even though I operate my laptop appropriately, i.e. hard surface I still like to have the rear of it lift up a bit for better air flow. I got a couple of plastic furniture floor savers that are used for furniture legs. The're cup like so the mounting feet of the laptop fit inside without worry of the laptop will falling off them. Allows me to slide the laptop around the desktop easily.
