Laptop serial -model number deciphering.

  I am a police officer following up on a stolen Dell laptop report from April 2009.    The original officer wrote down a serise of numbers from the original box the laptop came in but I believe that he may have used the wrong number as the serial number.   Dell support was zero help.  They repeatedly asked for the service tag # which I said if I had the computer , I wouldn't need their assistance.

  I have several series of numbers and letters combinations that to me , mean nothing.

  Is there anyone who can narrow down which is the model # and which is the serial # ?
