latitude 5500 docking issue

Having problems with docking/sync a latitude 5500. Dock station is m/n PR03X

NB Freezes when docking. Also, will not always sync completely; have to restart nb.

This particular nb does not offer the "undock" option in the start menu. Any help would be appreciated.
