Latitude D400

Hi

I am not sure if this is the right section, please don't bite me for that, but I didn't know where to write otherwise. I would like to buy a Latitude D400 but I am a student and no a Small Business. I could only find the D400 when I went into the Small Business Section of the Dell Homepage. Is there a possibility for a student to buy a D400 because it was really that what I was looking for : thin and light.

You can order from the Small Biz section with no problem.  They don't ask for any proof of your status, one way or the other.  The Lats are just more popular with business users, and that's why they're in a separate area.

Another option (and one eventually accessible via the Home/Home Office section, if you click long enough) would be a Refurbished Lat D400 from the Outlet.  Same warranty as a new one, and attractive prices on some models.  You just have to take them as-is, rather than being able to do a whole lot of configuring with the core unit.  You can add accessories and peripherals to the order, but the basic system is limited to what you see for a particular service tag/unit.
