latitude d630?

Question

I have to buy a new laptop and I was thinking about buying a latitude d620. By the way, I've seen on support.dell.com that a new d630 is listed in the supported models.   Do you have any info about this new model? I don't want to buy a new laptop and have a new model coming out 2 days later!   By the way, I'm a little surprised because usually dell updates its offer when new chipsets and processor families from intel are released...

I have not heard anything about a D630, but it would not surprise me if Dell was working on a model to take advantage of some of Vista's new features.  I hope whatever replaces the D620 will finally include a 1394 port!  The 6xx series is now the only member of the D family without it!

I head about it today.

Go on sale in April.

I hope the screen problem in the D620 will go away with this new release!
