Latitude D800 power issues

Question

I have a Latitude D800, and my problem is when I plug the power cord into the laptop the green light on the AC adapter goes out and I don't have any lights on the laptop.  I have replaced the adapter and the battery.  I also tried a different power cord and outlet, any suggestions?   Thanks,   Ben

The system board needs to be replaced. Assuming you have the standard 3-year Latitude warranty, it should be covered (which is a good thing, as it is an expensive repair).

I was thinking it needed replacement, but wanted to see if anyone else had the problem.  Thanks for the help.   Ben

I am having the same issue however when I put a fully charged battery into the laptop it works just fine until the power wares out. Do you still think it is a main board issue? Please reply to this.
