Latitude E5520 CPU Options?
According to Dell's spec sheet for the E5520, it can take an i3, i5, or i7 CPU. I have also been able to establish that these units run the i7 2640M chip as the i7 option.
I had my IT guys get me a 2640M, and when they installed it, the machine wouldn't boot. Another post in this forum stated that there may be a need for a new, higher wattage AC adapter.
Anyone have any advice on how to proceed?
