Latitude E6420 webcam drivers problem
After a serious software crash of my latitude e6420, and after the unsuccessfull effort I made to recover it by the dell recovery tool, I formated the hard disk and put a fresh windows 7 64bit copy. I tried to install my drivers from the dell.com drivers page but many of my devices do not wokr properly. My integrated webcam is installed with a Microsoft driver and the result is that I can use my webcam but I cannot configure it, in any way. ( even with the webcam central) when I use it the white light that turned on next to the webcam never turns on and I did not manage to find a driver from the dell.com support site for a dell latitude e6420 for the intergrated webcam. Since my laptop order came with no installation cd I depend 100% from the drivers I can find in the web.
Any solution for that? Dell Latitude e6420 webcam driver?

Since you formatted and did a fresh install, did you install the drivers in the correct order? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
After you install the drivers in the correct order, for the webcam, try reading...

With your computer, you received a special CD for that.
It is red and the label is "Ressource Media, Dell Webcam Central for Business".
Install the software, the driver will be installed.
I know... it's strange to not have driver on the driver CD.

Hi,
I am having the exact same problem with the E6420 webcam. I have tried locating a driver unsuccessfully also. I have tried contacting Dell unsuccessfully also. If anyone from the community is able to provide assistance it would be appreciated.

Myintegrated webcam not works...but my external webcam works properly

OLÁ ME CHAMO WILLIAM E ESTOU COM UM PROBLEMA, PRECISO DO DRIVE DA WEBCAM DO NOTEBOOK E6420 PORÉM EU NÃO TENHO O CD DE INSTALAÇÃO POIS ESTE NOT EU GANHEI. JÁ RODEI O SITE DE PONTA CABEÇA E NADA, POR FAVOR SE ALGUÉM TIVER O LINK PARA DOWNLOAD ME PASSEM POIS É URGENTE PRECISO MUITO, POIS É PRA TRABALHO. GRATO.
